Per Danielsson, a native of Sweden, is a renowned composer, arranger, writer, and educator. When he was young, he took lessons from Robert Malmberg and the world-renowned jazz pianist Bengt Hallberg. His dedication to learning piano brought him to the well-acclaimed North Texas State University. Per has been a performer all his life, having done performances with leading artists like Louis Bellson, Clark Terry, and Don Braden. He has also played piano for Chuck Owen's innovative big band, The Jazz Surge. After being a professional musician for 15 years, Per completed his Master's degree in jazz studies, composition, and arranging, studying with Chuck Owen. Per’s passion for teaching led him to be an assistant professor of jazz piano at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. He is a unique performer and educator, making an impact with his exceptional piano skills.
