Pyaar Deewana Hota Hai is one of the old Indian classics that never faded out

this is one of the few songs that stayed with us all this while. This song
represents the holy trinity of Bollywood, where Rajesh Khanna, Kishore Kumar,
R.D Burman, and Anand Bakshi were

Goonje”, a song which was sung by Asha Bhosle for the film Rajkumari, which

Pyaar Deewana Hota Hai was composed for the Bollywood film Kati Patang,
which was released in 1971. The movie was a musical drama directed by Shakti
Samanta; in the film, you can find stars like Asha Parekh, who was pretending
to be a widowed woman. Then,there is a charming man who lives next door,
played effortlessly by Rajesh Khanna. The film was a huge box office success
and the performance of Asha Parekh as Madhavi was praised by everyone,
which made her win the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. Apart from these two
actors in the leading roles,there were Nazir Hussain, Bindu, Prem Chopra, Daisy
Irani and Sulochana Latkar.
Samanta and Khanna collaborated 9 times in total,from which this movie was
the second in the string. Both the songs Yeh Shaam Mastani and Pyaar
Deewana Hota Hai were massive hits; both of them were sung by Kishore
Kumar. This movie became the sixth highest-grossing movie in Bollywood in
1971, and lots of critics said that there were two reasons for that,the first one
being the acting skills of the female lead and the second being the soundtrack
of the movie composed by R.D Burman.
