Sarah is an aspiring guitarist from Deltona, Florida. Playing and performing have always been a passion, from voice, to flute and piccolo. It went downhill after hearing an Eddie Van Halen solo while over at a friend’s house, where at age thirteen, she decided that she absolutely had to pick up the guitar! Since then, Sarah has absorbed herself into the instrument, continuing her musical studies at Seminole State College, where she is working on an Associate’s Degree in Music. She especially enjoys working with kids, and is a current instructor at Dr. Music Academy in Orlando, Florida.  Sarah has also assisted and taken part in the annual guitar camps held at Dr. Music, hosting a day dedicated to learning the basic techniques involved in playing lead guitar. She has recently had the privilege of working with Orlando musician-song writer, Lisa Firestone, where she was given the opportunity to play in a music video. Sarah enjoys listening to and playing a broad variety of music, from J.S Bach and Charlie Parker to Led Zeppelin and Steve Vai, and truly has a passion for the progressive metal and instrumental genres. Her attention, these days, is being focused on collaborating with local musicians and writing original music, playing out in the Orlando area, and committing herself as a student, continuing to learn from many of the great players in town.
