Torrins is a congregation of music lovers from all over the world. It all happened sometime ago, when we waded through the internet trying to find websites that would teach us guitar. Nothing fancy, just the basics. We were amazed at the volume and quality of content available, but at the same time disappointed, because they lacked what we looked for - a personalized learning experience! They all covered the "fancy" stuff in great detail, but none focused on the fundamentals. Hence, Torrins was launched to provide you, with a distinguished one-on-one learning experience. Our goal has been to make it as simple as possible for you and for that we've organized our lessons based on skill level. Also, although we do have the "fancy" stuff; we have tried to cover all the basic concepts in greater detail.
Torrins offers learning in Guitar, Vocals and Tabla (Indian Drums). Initially we thought of providing guitar lessons only, but as we looked for guitar instructors, we came across several great teachers who taught other instruments. We thought, surely there are people out there who would benefit from similar lessons for other instruments. So, we decided to include other instruments as well. May be at this point of time, we don't offer the entire gamut, but that is because we do not want to compromise on the quality of our videos or teachers. So as and when we find more time and more knowledgeable teachers, you'll definitely see more instruments here.
Our content is constantly revised based on feedback from our enthusiastic group at Torrins. What you see on the site is a continuously evolving teaching methodology, a culmination of inputs from teachers and learners. We would like you to join in too.
